Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computers and Pixar Animation Studios, gave such an engrossing speech at the commencement ceremony at Stanford University that possibly might have created a lasting impression on those who listened and those who read. Steve Jobs spoke about 3 stories of his life that changed his life and made him what he is now.
Steve Jobs was never a college graduate and when he dropped out of college he took Calligraphy classes instead. The beautiful typography that he learned during the classes prompted him to make the typography of Mac PC's. He said that you have to trust in something - your life, karma or destiny and it will never let you down.
His second story is about starting the Apple computer and getting fired from his own company at the age of 30. When Steve Job was fired, he was disappointed at the start but then he realized that now he was again at the beginning of things with more zeal and passion. He started 2 companies then NeXT and Pixar. Pixar the world's biggest animation company, made Toy Story, one of the biggest hits. There he also met the love of his life, his wife. Later, NeXT bought Apple and he again returned to Apple. The moral of the story is that never settle for anything in life, keep looking, something good might be awaiting for you.
His third story was about death. When Steve Jobs was diagnosed with cancer and doctor told him that he had very few days to live, he didn't lose hope and he is still alive and healthy. He everyday looks at the mirror and says, what if today was my last day I should live it to fullest. He concluded his speech by saying 'Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.
